Interestingly, most of the comments are applauding the sentiment rather than criticizing the self-defeating attitude. So I throw this out to you, customer service experts:

if you owned a gas station in a remote location and had the challenge of customers constantly complaining to employees about high prices so that every employee became frustrated and demoralized, what would YOU do?
